About Bethany

Welcome! As a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience, I've had the privilege of serving individuals across a spectrum of settings, including county mental health services, primary care, specialty medical practices and now, in private practice psychotherapy. I believe in fostering a collaborative and non-judgmental environment where clients can access the power of talk therapy to heal and recover from emotional hardships.
My journey in the field has been shaped by a deep commitment to lifelong learning and to providing quality, evidence-based therapy to those in need.
In addition to being a certified Neuropsychotherapy Clinician (NPT-C) and certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), I have received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems. These approaches form the cornerstone of my practice, enabling me to craft personalized treatment plans that align with the unique needs and goals of each person.
One area of particular interest and specialization for me lies in supporting individuals and families who contend with chronic illness. My passion for this work stems from my experience integrating mental health care within medical settings, where I've witnessed the interconnectedness of physical and psychological well-being firsthand.
Whether you're navigating the complexities of a medical diagnosis, coping with caregiver stress, or seeking support for any other mental health challenge, I'm here to accompany and support you every step of the way.
